1. Museo Moderno

The Museo Moderno is an art museum established in 1956 and has been in operation since the building last opened in 2018.

Since its foundation, it has been an avant-garde museum, the true home of Argentine artists, and a space dedicated to disseminating the latest productions from all artistic disciplines.

In 2008, we received a generous donation of eight works from the Patricia Phepls de Cisneros Collection (CPPC), one of the largest collections of Latin American art in the world.

2. El Zanjón de Granados

In a visit to the El Zanjón de Granados complex, it is possible to discover the origins of the city of Buenos Aires in a space where poetry, history, and myth coexist. It is the most important archaeological recovery in the city.

3. San Telmo Market

Founded in 1897, the Mercado de San Telmo is a large covered market with many stalls selling everything from antiques to fresh fruit and spices. The site is also home to restaurants, cafes, and tapas bars.

4. Mafalda, Susanita and Manolito

The area with the statues of the characters from the famous Argentinean comic book, especially Mafalda, is the most popular in San Telmo for photos.

The venue is located within walking distance of the San Telmo Market and the El Zanjón de Granados complex.
